Who we are

This website, pinchmesalt.co.uk, is operated by The Salt Mine Group Limited ("we", "us"), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 17390900, registered office: Office 639b, 182–184 High Street North, East Ham, London, United Kingdom, E6 2JA. We are the data controller for any personal data collected through this site.

What this site collects

This is an information-only website. It has no user accounts, no checkout, no contact forms, no analytics scripts and no advertising. We do not set cookies or use any similar tracking technologies, and no third-party services load on the page.

Our web hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (such as your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request) in the ordinary course of serving the site and keeping it secure. This processing is necessary for our legitimate interest in running and protecting the website. Logs are kept for a limited period in line with the hosting provider's retention settings.

If you email us

If you contact us by email, we will hold your name, email address and the content of your message so that we can reply and deal with your enquiry. We keep this correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to handle the matter and for our records, after which it is deleted. Our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or, where your enquiry relates to a contract with us, the performance of that contract.

Sharing your data

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with our email and hosting providers as needed to run the site and respond to you, or where the law requires us to.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for access to the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to object to or restrict our processing, and to data portability where applicable. To exercise any of these rights, email info@pinchmesalt.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).

Changes to this policy

If we add features to this site that change how personal data is handled (for example a contact form or analytics), we will update this page and the date above.
